My mail lady delivered a nice package today from Staci.... As you can see all the glasses are in perfect condition.

Wow they are beaut and in such great condition too.. :cheers:

I would be too scared to use them. I have grown up in fear of owning nice dinnerware and the like incase I damage the set.. I fear ever having to clean crystal, or silver and would be in even greater fear of damaging a beautiful set of smurfware. :(

These are great Maureen and how lovely of you Stace to send them. I remember Stace sent me some of them very early on in my collecting days and believe it or not I still haven't broken them. :D

Very nice glasses indeed. Do these come from the U.S.? If so, were they sold as glasses or were they originally filled with something? Here in Germany there are mustard companies which sell their mustard in jars which can be used as glasses afterwards. One company has Bart Simpson & another smurfs:-

I haven't found these football ones yet but I do have the ones from 2004 & 2005.

Tojo, these were sold separately in Hardee's (a fast food chain) in the US in 1982 and 1983. I think 1982 has 8 glasses and 6 for 1983.
