Lucie and Simon,
I am so so sorry.... I know this was a very hard decision to make but I recommend you for it. I don't know if I could have done it. It may be too hard right now, but i do hope that soon you will be able to enjoy remembering the six years you had with him.
My heart breaks for you right now.

Hi guys, Pudsley is 6 years old. It doesnt look good im afraid. The vet confirmed he has lesions/tumours behind his eyes. He has fitted through the night however the medication Diazepam, Phenobarbital and Epilese (bromide) is now starting to work. We have to take one day at a time and my vet said he isnt in pain. We have an appointment Wednesday and if he hasnt responded to the anti inflamatory drugs given and if he's deteriorated further then we will have to put him to sleep. Im absolutely knackered , pardon my language and to be honest devastated. Lucie
Oh dear!!! :( :( I'm terribly sorry for you, I know how I felt when my granny had her dog put to sleep about fourteen years ago. First my parents lied to me, by claiming he was only in Holland as a sperm donator. But when I discovered the awful truth, I couldn't eat anything for three days in a row, since that dog (called Bobby) was sort of brother to me. :( Bobby was ten thirteen years old when he had to leave us behind.:(
(((((((Hugs))))))) I'll keep you in my prayers.

Hi Lucie & Simon..I am really sorry to hear about Pudsley..I had to make the same decision about my cat Buttons, so I know how you feel..it broke my heart to have her put to sleep, but I just couldn't see her suffer and I'm sure you felt the same about pudsley. (((((((((((((((((((((lucie & simon))))))))))))) Thinking of you both x
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Thanks guys, we are both devastated. Luckily we have another dog (Polly) who is such a sweet natured, loving thing. She is keeping us going and looking after us. Lucie

Lucie & Simon, like everyone else, I'm so sorry to hear about Puds - but if was probably the best thing for him even though it's an impossibly difficult decision to make.

Simon & Lucie......I am really sorry to hear that. My sympathies go out to both of you. I know you both will miss him so much but I suppose you were also lucky to have such a nice friend in Puds and I bet he had a good life with you guys looking after him. I hope you both will be ok.

Hi Lucie and Simon, I am so sorry to hear your sad news. I am sure Puds isn't suffering anymore and he is now happy at the rainbow bridge. I know Polly will help you both get through this very difficult time. Me, Rich, Kenny & Kyle are all thinking of you.

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Hi Lucie, Simon and Polly,

I'm sorry to hear your sad news also. Losing a pet is always hard. Like Rachel said I am sure he's not suffering and in a better place now.

I hope you all feel better soon. I bet Polly is feeling especially lonely. Will you be getting another dog for Polly to play with?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phil's aunty told me the other night that years ago their dog, Tosca, had been getting old and was rather incapacitated. The family went away for a short holiday and left the dog with Nan. Nan decided that the best thing to do was to put the dog down while they were away so they wouldn't have to deal with it.    Aunty Janet said they were devastated when they came back and found out Nan had put their dog down without asking them. Nan is long gone too now but they still talk about how Nan killed their dog. :(

So sorry to hear about Pudsley :( You must be feeling really down at the moment. I've never had a pet so I can't really imagine how you feel.

Hi Lucie & Simon

Sorry to hear your news - I lost my rabbit two months ago and it feels so quiet without her scampering around. I'm glad you both have Polly
