I think it is great that they are doing such a good job promoting the movie. I was inthe dentist the other day and spoted a hank azario article where he is dressed as gargamel. It was a small spot in people magazine but still wonderfull to see. It was the first time I ever tore anything out of a magazine... shhh don't tell on me but the smurfs got the better of me
I just hope they keep up with the campaign and spread the word even more

Just as a reflection:

The trailer is just a teaser as they are still filming but, my god, the trailer is BAD! That's what I think anyway. Cheesy and pure awful setup...

However..

I think the Smurfs look REALLY good! Especially grouchy! If I'm honest, I think that they look a lot better than I imagined and that I can see myself growing to like the CGI versions!

I guess you have to have 3-D glasses to see the trailer. I saw 1 guy at the very start, but didn't know he was one of the actors. I guess that was Neil Patrick Harris. I did see 3 Smurf heads pop-up at the bottom of the screen, but only recognized Papa because of his red hat.

The other two could be grouchy and jokey

The 3 smurfs are Papa, Clumsy, and Grouchy.

I love Neil P Harris to death...he is awesome on "how I met your mother" and he also was a judge on American Idol and was very very very funny. I am really excited he is going to be in the movie
