South African Smurf

Just a quick line to say hello. I've been following the forum for quite a while and have gotten some useful info here to help me with my own collection! I'm not a huge poster in these type of forums, but every now and then I will drop a line! Mostly I hope to make use of the Boot Sale section and perhaps swap out some doubles with members around the world.
I don't know if there are any other South African collectors, but I can tell you that collecting Smurfs in South Africa is not the easiest thing! Most of my collection has been bought from Europe and America, though every now and again we get a good deal back home (for example I bought a 1978 house for $13, a few Christmas Smurfs for $7 each), but the marker can also be hugely inflated, like a guy asking $50 for Smurferman Smurf! Even with this I've been able to get my collection up to about 140-150 Smurfs in the past two years that I've been seriously collecting.
Anyway, that is a very long post. Look forward to interacting with some of you. I'm off to the Boot Sale Section, please check in! I do have some rare Schleich Smurf Stamp Set Doubles and a Garden Playset I want to trade away!
