As they've basically only recently released the 2020 smurfs do we know or feel that Schleich will release any in 2021? We normally have word by now.

I haven’t seen or heard anything about Smurfs being released in 2021.

But I have seen things about a new Smurf television series scheduled for 2021, so that might encourage Schleich to produce new Smurfs.

I'm not holding my breath

I heard today that they are planning to release six ‘classic themed’ Smurfs in July. At this stage I have not seen any pictures. So who knows what they mean by ‘classic themed’.

I guess they will be the same as the ones they’ve churned out over the last several years

Nothing yet, other than a cryptic clue that they are classic themed. Whatever that means!

Thanks Kath. I wonder how the Goodluck smurf will look, especially as we've recently had one with a four leaf clover, a key, and one which they called 'Smurf with goodluck charm' with a mushroom? Also, I wonder why they missed out article number 2.0824 in last years smurfs. Maybe used for a promo that year or before?

I was also curious what they meant by Craftsman Smurf. Is this a farmer crossed between a carpenter.

It’s also interesting to see there is no reference to Papa Smurf and Smurfette. I would have thought they are probably most recognised Smurfs.

I also hadn’t picked up they hadn’t used the article number 20824. Another mystery to be solved.

Once again I was confused when writing the post at 6am before going to work. If Craftsman was Papa Smurf I would have thought they would called it Papa Smurf Craftsman.

It just would be nice to see pictures.

Yup, I thought we would have seen pictures by now. I wonder if their release will be delayed?

Let’s think positive and hopefully the new Smurfs will be released in July 2021.

I agree with you about Good Luck Smurf. It’s almost like they had left over Sorry Smurfs #20749 and painted over the sign.
