I will be interested to see what the actual figurines will look like. Any ideas on what will be retired at the end of the year?

I got the info via Oli and was totally surprised. They look so different ! First I thought : ugly, but, finally, well... they look more like the original drawing for the head (hands and feet are very small).
Of course we must wait for the real figurine to judge the new smurfs.
And it is a good thing to see that Schleich still plans to produce smurfs for 2017

I was wondering what he was holding - I thought it could have been a wooden spoon but I couldn't figure out why he would be carrying it like that Now I know he's holding a key (presumably a coming of age idea).

They do indeed look different to what we have been used to from Schleich & Bully. They remind me more of the Plastoy smurfs & the characters in the books. I shall definitely buy them when they are released & am glad that the smurfs are not being discontinued

Sadly I cannot share any pictures but I saw some other smurf items being released by Schleich early next year. At this point I have no other details so sorry for being a little vague but it's good to know there are more new smurfs new on the horizon

are those "sets"? so something like Jakks ones?
How are they? what are they? do they have accessories?

From what I understand we should get pictures of the other sets and the house around November and December.

I just found two bad-quality pictures of "20800 Smurf Movie Set 1" and "20803 Smurf House with 2 smurfs" in this online store:

These are the first I have seen....

Not sure if this helps at all but I found these images today of the three movie sets.

I also came across this picture of the six 'Occasions' smurfs and noticed that Groom Smurf wearing a grey suit. Previously I had only seen a picture of him wearing a black suit.

Perhaps we will have two colour variations of the Groom Smurf!

Great pictures Maureen, they are the best I have seen so far.

Also I have noticed with the new house and new movie sets that they have the same article number as some of the Christmas smurfs displayed in the 1985 Maia & Borges catalogue.

Hi Everyone

This week I received the 2017 Smurfs and I am still making my mind up on them.

The 3 "normal" smurfs look okay.
But the 2 smurfettes and groom look more like they're on some kind of LSD trip.

I fully agree : the new design is not terrible, especially with smurfettes who look so asleep.
I have heard that Schleich now wants that the smurfette does not look too much sexy because of woman's position in life, but finally they look stupid. I don't know if I will buy the new collection

So... they've been producing Smurfs all these years and apparently they don't know that's she suppose to be Sexy?

So on drugs is better than sexy?
