We've just received the latest leaflet showing the newest offers from Aldi supermarkets in southern Germany. On Thursday 25th July there willl be smurfy icecreams & books :-D :-D

Unfortunately, we are heading from Germany to the UK on Thursday morning before they open so I'm really, really hoping that they'll have the smurfy stuff in the store on Wednesday evening already. Otherwise I'll be a very sad bunny :( :(

Here's are the links from their website:-

The 3 books (search & find with Papa Smurf, letters, shapes & colours)

The yummy icecreams (Happy, Funny Cup & Confetti)

Here's an update

I managed to get the ice creams on the evening before we went to the UK for our holidays but they didn't have the books... The ice creams were very nice by the way & I've kept all of the packaging :-D

As they didn't have the books I phoned one of my workmates & asked him if he could get the 3 books for me as advertised on the Aldi leaflet. Imagine my surprise when he handed me a bag this evening with eight different books in it

I've checked the publisher's website & they have their catalogue in pdf format there so I'll post the links here for those interested:-

Aldi didn't have the books on pages 26 & 27 of the catalogue but the other eight books on pages 22 to 25 are the ones Aldi had although the covers are different as are some of the titles :-? The Aldi ones are published in 2013 so this puzzles me somewhat. I can only imagine that there are 2 versions - 1 for Aldi & the other for the bookshops  As the price is the same for both I suspect that the content is the same but I can't be sure about that.

Whatever, I am very happy that Aldi had something smurfy :-D
