For those of you living in the states if you have a family video store near where you live it may be worth checking out. I just went to mine and talked to the manager about getting any smurf advertisment that they are getting for the dvd release. He does not know what if anything he will get but there is a small advertisment above the chash register showing the smurfs. They will also be haveing it for rent and the web site shows they are selling it (cheaper than any other place I have seen it for) here is a link http://www.familyvideo.com/catalog/prod ... _id=279810

Hi Gerda, I was doing a bit of research for the release of the DVD and came across this site.

There isn't much actual info on the release but it does show the episodes etc.
