On my travels for photos of the smurfs Euro tour display, I've found this photo of this amazing sculp, its listed under Pixi News. So this must be a new collectors piece? It was on display in Angoulême during the Comic Festival last weekend, which the smurf display was part of.
Here is the website it came from:

Really nice.. probably cost a small fortune.
Brad.

Wow, it looks great!
I can't imagine it will be sold publicly (for a reasonable price), but I like it nevertheleess!
The other photos in the link are great, too.

This statue is inspired in this image.
It was a poster and a 500 pieces puzzle. And now it is also a statue.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!
Brad, that sculpture is amazing. I think one of the most beautiul pieces of smurfy art I have ever seen! Thank You so much for taking the time to find all these wonderful photos.
Barrufet, Thank You for supplting this extra info about the puzzle and the poster. To me it makes the actual sculpture even nicer to appreciate knowing where the idea was from.

Of course, it is great to know where they got the idea from.
I wonder who will buy it if it's only 50 ex.
Rich people? Do rich people collect smurfs? Are smurf collectors rich?
They could produce 10,000 ex. and sell it for 300 EUR each. It would be a success..

Wouldn't that look nice in someone's smurf room......preferably mine of course.....I mean, one has to compete with a Smurf Express Train, a magnificient Welsh smurf diorama that really kicks ass, multiple promos, CNTs, Fakes everywhere else etc etc.
Maybe we could do "Operation Snatch"
....especially since we haven't done many undercover operations since the Dragon went straight and decided to not bend &/or burn the law anymore.
