She's wearing a dress. Look at the smurfettes in your collection: I'm sure that you'll see some other smurfettes "without" tail. 
edit: I think I now understand what you mean. The "white" area on her back is from the mold of the glass and connects the two molds. So smurfette probably has got a hole in her back!

That's exactly what I meant. The fact that she got painted after being glued to the glass, makes it look very wierd from that angle...edit: I think I now understand what you mean. But guess that only us "crazy" smurffers look at those weird angles...

I heard from an owner of a small toy store that he could get the new smurfs in December only when buying a Schleich christmas set for 1700€.
By the way: The new smurfs (both series) are official now (with their official names, for example: Smurfette
).
You can even take a look at the brochure (in different languages).
