Only have Papa so far and that's what it says under his foot? If they are different, would you be willing to trade a French set for an English one, Daniel?

yes you understood right.
In Germany we only get plush smurfs
But you can get a PVC film
(if you are quick), a mushroom and a box (to build a smurf)

why on earth would they make different items???
well, I haven`t been at McDonalds yet and i`m not sure what`s in the happy meals, but I suppose, they have the same strategy for all of Europe.

I like the PVC figures, don´t care for the plush.
Guess I live in the wrong continent for this promotion...

I just saw a smurf promotion sign at the supermarket, guess the movie is coming here first on the the 25th August. Lets see what McD does to their Happy Meals then.
And the McD portuguese site isn´t working, so I can see what their getting over there... It must not be my lucky day.

I also went to McDonalds today,here in UK the boxes are different,and you get a thing to make a windmill/fan. This week they are giving out papa smurf-well thats only one they gave out,they have 10 to collect not sure if its going to last 10 weeks or they are going to give out 2 a week.
I take some piccies of box later and post them.

That smurfy mushroom is cool, they didn't have any of those in Frankfurt or Bad Vilbel even though I was there on the first day so lucky you Ingo

So the US has 16 figures (Canada also?), Germany has 8 plush (6 small with loops for hanging them up & 2 larger with velcro on the hands) & from what smurfy3msl1 wrote the UK only has 10 smurfs

It's all a bit wierd but also interesting to hear that the boxes are different too.

I went to Bad Vilbel yesterday & they let me buy the toys which was cool - I ended up spending over €80 there & also got a pile of the boxes

McD in Portugal seems to also have 10 plush smurfs.
Wierd these promotions, that aren't the same...

We went to Mcdonnalds after the Movie. Natile got a happy meal because she knew I wanted the toys. I got a Greedy and a Baker. Baker was made in Viet nam while Greedy was made in China. Got the two boxes too. High four.

Well, it looks that every smurf nut (like I am), is chasing the McDonalds restaurants these days...... Here in Quebec Canada, I was able to get 4 PVC so far..... Papasmurf, Smurfette, Baker smurf & handy smurf....Very nice figures....

They told me, that they are supposed to have 2 new smurfs each week, but they are already out of stock of papasmurf & smurfette after only three days......So they already issued baker smurf & handy smurf.....

I'm about sure that it won't take long that this promotion will be out of stock.....

here you have two examples.

We finally got the last 8 Smurfs after work today. The McWoman who worked there went to the McBack of the restaurant and brought back a big McBox full of the McSmurfs.

The only McNegative was that she offered to give us 14 of the Happy Meal boxes to go with the toys and the McFish said we will only need 2 of them What was she McThinking?
