There was a competition between Vernon Kay and Pete Tong (Ibiza DJ) on the Chris Moyles breakfast show this morning.
Apparently this has been going on for 2 or 3 mornings.

The looser was to be handcuffed to a Smurf for 24 hrs!

Pete Tong has lost and will be handcuffed tonight at 7PM when he launches this week-end party in Ibiza!

Chris moyles mentionned that he googled "Being handcuffed to a Smurf for 24hrs" and found some strange results! :)

Also made a joke about walking into a bank and asking for a loan. When being asked "What do you do for a living?"
answering "I am a professional Smurf handcuffer" or "handcuffed Smurf"! Forgot which one!

Thanks for the call, I think I missed it by about 5 mins as I was in the car by 8.55am! I'll try and listen to it on the website a bit later.

Just done a quick search and seen a few topics on other forums about this. There is even one where they are having an arguement about the fact that Papa smurf should have a beard.

Duuuuuhhhh! that's excatly the point! It's a Stag night! Why do you think they also handcuffed guys naked on a night train from Edimburgh to London... not to prove that they can survive in the wild and come back home safe... It is really just for fun... honest! :)

I totally agree, mind you, I also did want to give them the proper answer that, yes, Papa does have a red hat but he does also have a white beard.

Cool, smurfs are getting quite a lot of mentions lately..they were also mentioned on Mock the week last week
