I am verry sorry if there is already a topic for this but does any one know anything about the next series of smurfs?

If you are refering to the 2008 pvc smurfs then no that information wont be out for another couple months or so, then we should find out how many smurfs will be retired and which ones!!
I think I can say for certain that we are all keeping our fingers crossed for some new supers to come out too

What i want to know is will there be anything special to mark our little buddies 50th anniversary....but yes some new supers would be great.

I'd say they will do something special especially if the first of the movies really is released and if the DVDs are being released in the US starting later this year

This sounds to me like they are gearing up for something nice and special...and I for one am looking forward to it

I hope I don't shock anybody when I admit that I am not so much interested in the movies themselves..but I am looking forward to a revival to smurf collecting ...and I hope a lot of people remember they have smurfs somewhere ....I can't wait to see what old smurfs and variations may come up

Hi CT, the new smurfs are normally announced in the Autumn of each year, if I remember correctly around the beginning of November but this does differ some years.

Not long to wait now..........

I would be very surprised if a 50th smurf would not be made seeing how they had other mild stone anniversary releases (25, 30, 40 year)
50 is a big deal!! Now you got me thinking of all the possibilities......

I want to see a smurf with a Slurpee...although it won't be an actual Slurpee as they are a trademark......but they can have one like that and call it a Smurfee

I bet i`m the only one here who doesn`t own the full set of 2007 Smurfs??

The reason for this is i have absolutely knowhere to display them yet!,and they would only get placed in a box then into storage until i can get a display unit....but this will haveto wait as already on the shopping list is:New school uniforms,daughters bedroom re-vamp,Christmas,new cooker/sofa blah,blah,blah....the list is endless where my dear wife (mumble,grumble) is concerned.

Seriously though, I wouldn't wait too long as they could be deleted after a year or two and suddenly become quite hard to find like the Marching Band series.

I don't have them either, I have only 15 smurfs, and I'm pretty sure 3 are lost in the mail
