hello peeps, newbie smurfer here, im looking to sell off a lot of my collection. i bought the chess set when it first came out but cant remember what i paid now. im in 2 minds as to whether to sell it or not as it is absolutly gorgeous but it might help me make up my mind if i knew approx what i could sell it for........

any ideas????

I sell them new for £89.95 which is about the normal price I think for a new one. For a second hand one I would expect at least £50. I hope this helps.

I think you made the right choice

I could never bring myself to pay so much for something so small. I wish they made one twice that size, so I could actually play with it. When you have big adult hands, those small chess sets are hard to play with. You end up not being able to pick up your piece, and then you knock over 2-3 others in the process. Not to mention jiggle the board around, unless it has good rubber traction on a flat table.
