Hi all... Last weekend I took some of my well behaved smurfs to Hanmer springs (a camp in the mountains with hot pools, bungy, and all out dorr activities). How do I define a well behaved smurf, I hear you say.. simple.. One that doesn't fall over whn you stand em up!!!!..
We actually went with my swing dance group and our local swing band. So lots of dancing and fun was had by all.
piccy 1 is at the camp gate.. 2 is down at the village dancing on the lawn with the band. 25 degree day and my smurfs got more dancing than I did. the 3rd and 4th piccy was at night with the main party.
I'm only now catching up on the house work! So hopefully I'll get a chance to finish those "in production" smurfs next weekend.

Sounds like you and the "well behaved smurf" had a nice time there. Did you bungy jump? I don't think I could ever do this....although I would love to go parachuting for some reason....however bungy jumping scares the hell out of me.

Thanks folkes..
Syd: I didn't bungy as I was smurf-sitting (thats my excuse anyway!)

There used to be a bungy simulator in TePapa Wellington which I did some years back.. thats about as adventurous as I get (the simulator tips you up-side-down and blows wind in your face whilst you watch a 3D tv screen... all that for just $6). Unfortunately the payment was not simulated, that part was real and scared me into not doing it again.
Raelene: I was holding the camera (those are my fingers holding the smurf in the grass).. apparently others took shots of me up there but no one wanted to photograph me dancing with my smurfs!!!! Thats odd! .. in fact "thats odd" was similar to what they said when they did see me dancing with my smurfs.
Rachel: Yep had a great time .. lots of activities Volleyball, dance olympics, BBQ, long walks under the stars, evening with the big band and the hot pools. Sorry for posting this here, I could have sworn I was in the chat forum.. I guess I was disorriented around the computer again

I'm sure my smurfs move the keys around whilst I'm not looking.

Hey guys and girls.. this gives me an idea... What if we took one smurf and let him travel the world... We could send him to each member (those willing to participate) and every member takes a picture of the smurf from local areas.. It would be like a chain letter, except it would be a chain smurf!! What do you guys think??!!!
