I received a nice package today which among other things included a Helicopter that I really wanted. I previously only had one variation of the Helicopter (W Germany CE - light orange wheels and light grey propeller) but the one I received today was the W Germany one with the silver propeller and dark orange wheels (still need the Hong Kong variation).
Anyway, as I was pushing the Propeller pole with propeller attached into the hole I accidentally snapped off one of the propellers
Not good considering I paid way too much just to get this as I knew it was one I needed and it was without a box too which made it quite costly.
Can I ask if anyone has a spare silver Helicopter propeller among their spares to sell or to trade?....or even a spare Helicopter with W Germany (no CE) or Hong Kong markings?
I am going to headbutt the brick wall for a few more hours until I get over this
Thanks
Dyar Headache

Hi,
If you want a headache you better have a lot of

as in that case you will forget why you are drinking and when set on having a headache this will do just as fine
Could you show a pic of the broken piece and the helicopter you mean. I have a few variations spare in boxes as well as some loose ones and maybe the part. If you show me yours I will check mine
Dennis.

Nooooooooo.
At least you were honest Andrew and owned up to the accident instead of trying to blame Jack!
I don't think I have any spare helicopter bits but I do have another one on the way so I will let you know if I do come acroos any helicopter spares.
Why is it so easy to imagine you playing vrooooom with your new helicopter!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience too Stace....I guess it wasn't our day.
Here are 2 pics of the Helicopters I have.
The broken one that needs replacing is the W Germany Schleich S variation with the sliver propeller.
The unbroken one is the W Germany CE Schleich S variation with the light grey propeller.
I am also after the stick that the smurf holds as I realised this one was broken down the bottom of the stick before I got it and doesn't position properly in the smurf's hand.
On the bright side....we have SJ back

Hi Dyar, sorry to hear you've broken your chopper. Perhaps you could try a bit of good ole superglue to fix it untill you get a replacement

Yeah...I agree Lucie. I will use the old superglue temporarily........don't tell David I'm not using duct tape ok as he will think I am not paying attention to the Handy Man lessons 101 but I think this needs a more subtle method of repair...I haven't even bought the WD-40 yet

Try sparrow spit.
Those little birds really keep their nests glued tight.
But, speaking of Dohs, when I put my well playset together as a kid I clipped off the handle to the turnstile thinking it was part of the scrap plastic.
When I packed my smurf-in-cage to move, I didn't take the cage apart! In shipping, two bars and the door snapped off!

Oh no Tim
I have a broken Cage too thanks to a friend who came over and dropped it causing the Eyelet to snap somehow

....my friend is notorious for breaking or ruining things....he has some type of special talent in that area

Does he like smurfs or is he one of those:
"Dude, like I can't believe it. Smurfs. These are like awesome. Look. Hyuk, hyuk, hyuk. Like, the little guy's cage spins around. See? Whoops!!! Hope it wasn't expensive!"

Well Dyar your friend would laugh at all of us!!
on the bright note I have some really good news for you... and NOOOO I did not save a bunch of money by switching my car insurance to gieco.. (dumb American comercial that pops up EVERYWHERE)
I have a spare helicopter, although it is the hong kong version and the stick that goes in the hand is missing, but maybe you can make something work with the propeller.. I will set it aside for you.. Hope you can make it work!

Hello Andrew,
Well, I checked and have the following offering:
- A spare rotor, but it has the markings made in Hong Kong on it, as is normal with the HK version
- An almost complete HK version of this Super which only misses the little pin which holds the rotorbade in position.
If any of these is of interest, just

me.
Dennis
