Muffy Schlumpf is the Smurf that always says 'I hate...'. I thought he was called Miesepeter in German, but apparently Muffy appears as well
I believe he is called "Schtroumpf grognon" in French.

Yeap that's it: "Grognon"!

:):)
"Muffy" sounds rather different though...
Anybody want to guess what "Muf" means in slank French? (Well actually in "verlans" for the connaisseur...

:):)

Just hope it isn't the same as it is in Australia otherwise it would be a weird name for a smurf. It would have to be a Smurfette

Sorry guys, my english is very bad. So i don't understand your problem with the word "muffy". Besides there was an error in writing. I mean "muffi" not "muffy". I hope, it's better now.
Muffi is another word for miesepeter. Thats right.
Thanks for your answers!

Hi Ostseemausi
You didn't say anything bad at all....it's just Raelene's dirty mind that was making things up
Seriously...it was just an Australian term or slang name so it wasn't bad or anything and no one took it that way either.
Fram & David to the rescue once more....interesting question too
Dyar
PS - Rae is going to kill me isn't she Graham?

I know nobody is going to believe this but I had forgotten what "it" meant in English!!!!

Ooops!
Ok it is also the "Verlans" for "Femme" which is "Woman" in French.
Verlans is a bit like a slank way of talking where you say the words (phonetically) back to front... just to confuse everyone....
Verlans is actually the reverse for "L'envers" which means "back to front"...
and now that I have lost everyone, you will have a written test next week, so I hope you have been listening. Syd and Rae, you will have points deducted for distracting the whole class and bad behavior!

It's ok Lucie....I then feel guilty and sneak the items back into the shop and return them.....so I am more of a "tea break leaf" than a complete tea leaf.
