I've kept it fairly simple, and included only the Smurfs from the regularly available ones I don't have yet (like carpenter and so on), including some Supers and the Drummer set. Extra are some old houses in new box I know for sale, and the Plastoys. No idea if I'll get any, but I have received some Smurfs each year for the last few years 8-)

Here's a list from me

These would be great but they won't happen:

Astro playset (MIB) as I am missing the box and the Trailer in mine :(
Large Tree Stump (MIB)
Schlumpf-burg (although I don't have any rich relatives or great detectives around me so it would be very very...well it won't happen this year at least)

This is what I am hinting for this year:

Large Astro Smurf (about 30cm I think)....not sure if I will get one but it's possible :-?

Dear Kids :-)

Here a message from Santa. AT this moment we do have a few moonsets looking for a new warm place to stay for their remaining years. I asked Karen if it was OK to post this here and she was OK with it so here goes.

Some of you might have seen the sets on ebay, but if anybody wants to give me their fair offer we might be able to come to terms. On ebay sales I also calculate the fee of putting it on, the fee of selling and the paypal cost. Adding these up is quite a bit of money and I rather give that as a discount to a fellow collector than to Mr and Mrs Ebay. If you are interested let me know and if you come close enough to the price I am willing to sell for this migh become a wonderful christmas

Dennis.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the kind welcome and I hope to be able to be of service to thers with answers or ad some questions myself. Discussing Smurf's with others who can not let go of their childhood is a very good thing my therapist says :D

On the offer, when I think of items like this, which aren't really cheap, I think in the manner of do I want 20 Smurfs of 5 pounds that can be found on a later date as well or do I want to spend it on something rare like this. That meant that we spend most of our money in the beginning of collecting and now can go to fairs and only spend a few euros for the ones that can be found all over the place. But of course the situation varies for everybody and choices are there to be made.

Well, if anyone wants to have a go at it please do, otherwise they will go to the big fair we have this friday, saturday and sunday and will probably end up with some dealer asking much more for it.

Dennis.

Hi,

Yes, we will be at the Jaarbeurs for all three days this time, although probably for the last time if the number of visitors does not increase since last time. Today is 'pack everything in boxes day' :banghead: and hopefully we'll be ready for it.

Thanks Beer Smurf :D Glad to hear this one has found its way to a happy home.
We put one in our own colelction as well and that was probably a highlight of the past years!! :)

Dennis

Hi Dennis

Welcome to the forum....it's nice to see you here

I would really love the Astro set toobut it would probably take me long time to pay off so I cannot make an offer at the moment sadly. However I do plan to be talking to you within the next week about the other things we discussed before so that's something to look forward too.

Take care and good luck at the fair this weekend

Dyar

Heya Dennis,

You caught me a little too late. I have just bought one elsewhere, otherwise I would've been interested. I am in the process of paying mine off and have paid 2/3 of it already.

Nice to see some new faces on the forum too. Welcome. :D

:backtotopic:

For Christmas? What do I want Santa to bring me?

I want a Thomas Edison Smurf (because I want to declare him "Dr. Who Smurf" and bombard the Adults Only section with stupid--I MEAN FUNNY--Dr. Who-Smurf scenes (guess who the cybermen would be).

I also want a King Smurf Plastoy (thanks mom)(I would have felt like a jerk excluding that, especially since I helped her pick it out).

As for the Schlumpfberg Chateau--

Is everybody sitting down?

The schlumpfberg Chateau disgusts me. Eef zumbotty zent eet tu mee, I vood zeend eet back! Deesgusts me! Deesgusts me! No Schlumpfberg Sheet House here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, I am rather partial to the astrosmurf playset though. But, I expect my Astrosmurf Playset to descend from the heavens amid an angelic choir. I EXPECT GOD TO DELIVER IT HIMSELF--NOT A STUPID FATMAN (sorry Santa) WITH EIGHT LITTLE REINDEER AND A NINETH WITH A NOSE THAT GLOWS.

Because if Santa delivered it, I would send it back! GOD ONLY! So, Schlumpfberg Chateau--go to hell! Go to HELL! NO SCHLUMPFBERG!!!

I couldn't wait for Santa or Mrs Dyar so I bought the large Astro tonight and 4 Schöwald sockels (Chimneysweep, Snowboader Smurfette, Umbrella & Tenor Horn). I just have to let Mrs Dyar know without getting injured that she has already bought my Christmas present for me :)
