Yesterday, b4 i went to work, i decided to give my one and only astro smurf a little bath, as he was a bit grubby, and he was expecting a nice new helmet from KITTY'S CAVERN.... FOR ALL YOUR SMURFING NEEDS ! ok, sorry, no need to advertise ! Anyway, i forgot about him being in bleach, until i got home and was talking to Rae, and she said something about making Mr SA Smurfette pay for not doing the housework, i do not know what she meant and i did'nt want to ask, anyway, my little blue dude had been in bleach for over twelve hours and wow, what a result ! nice and clean ! i think i was lucky tho, but the little dude survived, although, he did pong a bit !

I have to admit I don't know if I could bring myself to use bleach on the little guys but I am very glad to hear that your Astro survived and came out nice and clean. Did it effect his paint or the PVC at all?

Hi Rachel, he was only meant to get a twenty minute dip in bleach and water to see if i could clean him up a bit ! and like i said twelve hours later....... lol ! yes i admit i was lucky, but the pvc is fine, the paint is fine, it just gave him a good clean, he was a little yellowish and grotty, but he is fine, all clean, i was surprised by the result ! so now, he is awaiting a new helmet, so all should be well, its like having a new smurf !

I really should of read the 2nd half of your post first Graham.......does anyone know if you can sell plane tickets to England on Ebay?

Glad that he turned out ok....I would of thought that he'd be ruined but happy that he wasn't....does that mean that Rae saved the day in a way?.......I bet you now scare the hell out of that Astro.....when you got to put the new helmet on him he will probably be thinking...oh great...here comes the poisonous gas now
