Blue Cavern

Can anyone tell me anything about this variation? Is it a real variation as I have seen one of these some where else before but it's not mentioned in the Katalogs. I have always thought it might just be a repaint, however it has come up again and I would be interested to hear anyone's opinion on this one.

...then again 2 of my Papa Captains have green buttons instead of gold and on one of those itl ooks like they used to be gold but they have gone green somehow

Maybe this is what happened with the stars......probably not but just thought I would say that anyway.

It was probably from me you heard about them, I thought they were in the katalog, don't have time to check now though. Here is the link, I have some in the shop.

Mine came from old shop stock in Malta, Melchior knows the person I would have got these from, they are original.

I just checked and I have five of these with the green stars so no panic, I've had an enquiry for one of them but that still leaves four. I can count!!! Whoopeeee!!!!

I have 3 of these ones. The one I had as a kid (so probably about 17years old at a guess) the (originally) gold stars have turned a sort of light green. Quite pale. Your pic looks as though actually had green stars all along though.

Hi Dyar, I also have at least one Jester smurf with green stars, it isn't obvious with the pics on Blue Imps so I will check when I unpack them.

PS - I just have to remember when ordering any Archers from Karen, that I make sure she understands it's smurfs I am ordering......I think she has drunk a few this morning......of course it's very late evening where Karen is......just had to say that incase people thought the was pouring alcohol on her Corn Flakes......it isn't true guys......I think she prefers Vodka & Rice Bubbles in the morning anyway.
