With the arrival of my #1 Grad today that completes smurfs 20001-20200 for me. I think I only have about 50 smurfs left and now and I will have one of each of the normals, so that is pretty exciting.


Thanks Rae for checking out Kmart and DJ's for me and getting a few of the newer ones I was missing (everything in the pic except the grad!)

Congratulations Linda.....to be only about 50 away from completing your set is really exciting.......it will be fun for you ticking off the last remaining ones....maybe you should list the last ones you haven't got soon and then cross them off as you go along so we can cheer you on.

Heheheh JT yeah that would be me. It then went from one box to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 before they finally got a cabinet. Though all the supers are still in a box. I already have a few variations too. (Astro, sunbather, angry, trumpet, firstaider, ice lolly, AFL, cake, jungle etc etc) I am not bothered about variations so much. I just keep them if I like them.

Well done Linda, only 50 to go that's great. I think last count we are down to 48 to go . Hopefully Si will stop buying rugby smurfs and will concentrate on the one's we are missing Lucie

Just an update...once the smurfs I just bought arrive I am down to 41 to go.

Although you will probably get the last 41 pretty quickly I bet it will feel like a long time...I know it did for me. I got the set of supers, regulars & ornaments within the first 12 months of colelcting but the last ones felt like they took forever to get....but it will be such an achievement once you get there.....how's Phil coping (or not coping) with it all?

I told Mrs Dyar that it would end in about December 2003.....you should see some of the bills I have to pay off now...... ......it's a lot of money and that's an understatement. She will probably never understand why I need so many but I told her yesterday that if I died she could sell them all and enjoy spending the money.....I am not sure that was the smartest thing I've ever said as I could see her brain ticking once that was said.......should I hire a taste tester?
