Very interesting reading, Thanks Karen. I wish The Smurfs were on UK TV again. I know they were showing quite recently but I am not sure whether they are still on.

If you want to see old smurf episodes and in dutch.
you can see them every day on CANVAS a belgium TVzender.
in UK at 16:45 and in holland, belgium at 17:45

sorry made a little mistake.
the TVzender is KETNET and not CANVAS.
cause the network is split in 2. morning till 19:00 UK time is KETNET and after 19:00 CANVAS starts.

We still have them on here I think but I never get to see them as Jack is continuosly watching Short Circuit, Ghostbusters, Scooby Doo, Toy Story 1 & 2 as well as Pink Floyd's The Wall and the Home Alones....it's sad when your 2 year old won't let you watch the cartoons you wanna see.

Understandable. You can only hope he outgrows them or sees the Smurfs as another way to watch tv.

It's very diffcult to impress kids these days.
