Well, this is a stupid thread, but I like the idea of knowing what you said and what you say now...These are examples of sentences I said time ago, and now when I remember it, I can´t avoid to

- I will never pay more than 3 euros for a fake smurf
- I don´t need the boxes of supersmurfs. I don´t collect boxes
- I don´t like smurf on sockels
- I won´t collect raw smurfs

And you???????????????????

I said almost the same as you did Pitufo but in a different way.
I said; "I don't want to collect Smurfs on sockels." but now own
about six of them. LOL! No regrets though.

I don't need every smurf...just the ones that appeared in the cartoon series

I put the super smurf accessories together the way I see fit..I don't care if they were intended like this

I will never ever in a thousand years collect fake smurfs

I think I've said the same things too! I can remember saying that I'm only going to collect the pvc's, no plush or games or anything else.

I always say don't read the smurf forum today, but then I'm probably doing it again. cheers.

Gert, that's like me saying that I won't go on the net & check kthe forum today but end up doing it anyway

About the only one I ever said was I would not collect plush. I now have about 30. BTW it was just before the large plush (with DVD) came out that I said that.

Being a collectaholic I never say I won't collect everything but what I always said was that I'd never spend more than €50 for a smurf. Oh well, that's gone down the drain too as I've just bought a Fix & Foxi off Karen

I also just won another 2 smurfy carneval medals for over €40 each so there's no saving me now... That's 10 I've got now.

Do you have any idea how many of them are out there, Tojo?

Well, as far as I can tell there is still one carneval club in existence producing medals:-

Neppeser Schlümpfe (from Cologne started in 1980). They collect money for charity & as far as I can tell it goes to children's hospital wards.

Then there used to be the Subbelroder Schlümpfe (also from Cologne started in 1978) & Die Schlümpfe from Frankfurt both of which don't seem to exist any more. I expect that both of these clubs produced a medal for every year that they existed. It's possible that IMPS put a stop to both of those clubs:-? I then have a couple of medals from other clubs featuring smurfs too - one from Dortmund & one from Nussloch.

I really like these medals as if you hadn't guessed

I broke mine,too. But neither any regrets or whatsoever.

The ebay went rigth out the window once I realised smurfs are hard to come by and the spending alot... well we all know how that turns out.

Just that one I had mentioned earlier in this topic, but it's fun to see

Mine was, I collect smurfs so I will never buy gargamels, azraels, brown dogs, grey dogs, pink creature, squirrels with nuts or orange jungle smurf and these ended being some of the hardest I had to get
