I quite happy winning the following smurfs

Red / Gold Surprise Bag Smurf
Thirsty Smurf (Red Bottle)
Ben Franklin Smurf
Thomas Edison Smurf
Abraham Lincoln Smurf
George Washington Smurf
Paul Revere Smurf

and I paid £158.04 for the lot.

This will be my second George Washington Smurf so one will be up for auction on Ebay soon as it arrives.

I lost out on a 174 Smurf Job Lot which included rare smurfs

Paul Revere Smurf
George Washington Smurf
Christopher Columbus Smurf
Baseball Pitcher Smurf

as well as a few more Smurfs I needed.

Congrats, sounds like a good price indeed. I managed to get a baseball catcher for a friend the other day for £3
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Thats quite a haul of great Smurfs. I don't know how much that is in US but it sounds really good.

It was actually on the American Ebay site and in US Dollors I got it for $257.17. I don't normally spend high amount of money on smurfs unless it is for a massive job lot of smurfs - which I then sell my doubles on Ebay, but decided to just to get a few more rare smurfs. At the moment I would say the the rarest smurfs i have in my collection at the moment would be my George Washington Smurf and 2 Chemist Smurfs.

It works out fine because my sister will be visiting me next week from the states and will be bringing them back with her.

I would think the suprise bag and thirsty are more rare than George Washington. Unless the George Washington is special in some way.

even though i've won them I don't consider them as part of my collection until I have them in my hands but I'm sure the surprise smurf will infact be my rarest smurf

Postby bwalters » Sun Jun 14, 2009 7:36 am
Oh I see that makes more sense. And thats a good idea not to count them until you actually have them.
