Hi everyone,

I mention some smurfs we could buy in Belgium and so maybe everyone can do the same of his or her country...and if there was noting at least you've got your fomurmember-friends who could send it to you!
Belgium:
Unicef smurfs
The leblon smurfs cook and now the one with the flowers
the cookie-box and puzzles of delacre
promotion in Delhaize with Panini stickers
auction of the big Unicef smurfs
Calender 2009 of the smurfs
the very nice set of 2008 party smurfs
Plush smurfs small and big
Small books with the newspaper
new comics
....
maybe I forgot some smurfy items ... do you know more

I would include the smurf dvd's here in the states simply because it was a U.S. release which is rare in it's own right

There were the T-shirts earlier this year that were released by JayJay in Australia and also released in the US (not sure of the name of the store)
The US also saw the release of the three talking plush and the 50th anniversary plush set that were sold by Toys R Us and QVC
and Kohl's sold a smurf shirt, boxershorts and PJs

it has been a great year for the 50th anniversary. Wish we could all live in Europe, best country for smurf celebrations and new release merchandise. There was the Albert Heijn Supermarket promotion to add to your list Michelle. And at least this year other countries got something smurfy as well. Here in Australia...
AUSTRALIA
-Jay Jays clothing stores had a range of smurf clothing in a huge store promotion of the smurfs! (I'm actually wearing my Brainy smurf tee at this very moment, heh), plus pvcs, mini dvds and bags were also sold in Jay Jays stores.
-DVDs we got 2 different sets. A 50th anniversary box set plus the final season of the smurfs "Time Travellers" dvd.
Junk Food clothing line in the US. I really want to get around to buying a few of those t-shirts. They cost too much and then with the exchange rate at the moment. I like my 2 Jay Jays shirts, which they'd made more mens designs. Is the BASF considered this year? I think maybe it was out end of 2007 but I know that I didn't buy mine until around February. The Unicef smurf tour and all those white smurfs! Would have loved to experience that. I've saved so many online photos, these will be great to look back on in years to come.

Well Gerda mentioned the Smurfs DVDs being release for the first time in
the U.S. was a big thing for me. I've been waiting for those since they had
mentioned it in 2005. It was also great to see the Talking Smurf Plushes
with DVDs and the 50th Anniversary Plush with extras sold at Toys-R-Us...
and though it wasn't an item to be bought, also remember the Giant Size
Smurf Balloon that was at the Thanksgiving Day Parade this year for the
very first time. I think that was a big treat for Smurf Fans.
