Hi All; What is with people shipping plates in padded envelopes? I was wrapped tightly in a piece of cardboard, but why take the chance. Especally when dealing with oversea's post and customs. Maybe one or two of them will be careful with your mail, but I wouldn't take the chance. I had to have exchanged hand 30 of 40 time's your going to find one of person that is having a bad day and just tosses your package. Any way it did arrive safely. So why the rant. I just think it's silly to try. I love the plate it is beautiful. The only other one that I have seen is Gerda's. The other thing is a christmas ornament (A gift). It is metal and very thin but a nice gester.
