and found this amusing thread...I have no idea what that forum is about, but this made me chuckle

When I read this, I literally laughed out loud!!! I can relate to this wholeheartedly.

The whole black/purple smurf/racist issue has been played before. If the smurfs were white and when bitten turned orange or green I'd bet it would be a "non issue".
I've often wondered at how people assign human qualities (mostly flaws) to Smurfs. Don't they know it's just about fun?
Anyway, some of those Smurfs jokes did make me laugh...because even though I ask the question above...I love to laugh!
the last one was a downer.
I wonder if cat owners send Jim Davis hate mail about how he's stereotyped all felines as fat, lazy lasagna eaters....

I've seen that particular writer's stuff in Wizard and Toyfare.

The one that hit me was Hefty Smurf. I never thought about it before but, ya... someone HAD to have tatooed him. Who did it? Techno Smurf?

At least you can tell the he must have watched the smurfs to know so much about them. He probibly sat infront of the TV as a kid just as I did of corse I was an adult then and loved to watch them. Bill
