Guys,
Whats the deal with the Old Mindmill blade material and the patched sails , i recently got one and noticed that 2 sails are patched and 2 are plain white??
Ive been perusing through mails and have seen all 4 blades with patched material!! although i do recall seeing 1 identical to mine on one of our members sites(but cant remember whose)!!
I got the Windmill boxed and still sealed --- just curious.

btw --what a nightmare to construct can you imagine a kid trying to build that!! I have to admit i dont have the patience and called on Steve P to put in the graft!! my apologises mate

Yes I had a few problems when I built mine. Even now the mushroom awning doesn't sit properly but that's a fault in the manufacture I think as it seems to be twisted slightly. Still, it doesn't really matter and I've put it where you can't see the fault.

Can't answer your question though as mine is the new version.

I just checked my windmill and it exactly the same as yours - 2 patched/ 2 white

I have to admit I have never tried to build it before. OK, I have to admit this was the first time I even looked in the box. At least now I know there's a windmill in there

Mine looks like the one on the package of Dyar's website

But his Old (grey) one has patches on all of it's sails..but different patches



A very interesting question

The windmill display with motor is always without any patches... but this only btw
