A few days ago, I came along a very lovely video tape dating from 2000 called "Peyo, Daddy Smurf", featuring an excellent report on Peyo and the smurfs in English from 1998 (40th anniversary of the smurfs). However due to copyright I am unable to show you any excepts from the report. Though I was meant to save some bucks for my smurfy lady, who I will meet again in about two weeks time, I couldn't resist and get hold of the tape. (I don't think that ten Euros was pricey, wasn't it? ) It looks like an authentic release. Nevertheless I was just wondering, if that tape has been sold officially in any Belgian shop at that time or was it only used as a promo tape to advertise smurfs. :?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dominique, firstly, welcome back, I hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year. :cheerz:

This video sounds very interesting indeed and of course, I would love to see it. Maybe one day when you visit Wales, you will bring it with you and we enjoy it together. :-D

Some advice, as video tapes get broken easily, you should consider copying it to DVD (of course for your own personal use) so to preserve this piece of smurf history. :winks: :D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Great to see you again. Firstly, I hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year. :D
Thanks to a lunatic neighbour of mine, Christmas and New Year's Eve were truly unforgetable. See:http://www.forum.bluecavern.com/viewtopic.php?t=10299
Thank God, there were Manni and my collegues, who came along. :D
I'd love to visit you one day. You know how much I love the UK. Having been to England and Scotland before, Wales is definitely on my want list. Probably we might bump into Anthony Hopkins, since he want to return to Wales. That would be icying of the cake for me. Then I surely will bring along the tape with me. As the for the dvd recommendation, I am afraid that I have not got the technical equipment at that moment.
