Blue Cavern

A friend sugested I saw this episode, knowing me and my bf have become lego fanatics.
This is a show I had never saw before, and probably won't ever see it again, as I didn't care for the sort of humor used (didn't even thought it was slightly funny/amusing). Anyway, this show is composed by diferent short sketchs with the caracters molded of of some sort of soft clay (not really clay, but the english word eludes me at the moment). The last sketch featured our little blue friends.

Heavy rain over the smurf vilage, makes the damm, built by beavers, break away, and the smurf village gets floded. All the smurfs drown - except brainy - who cries when he realises there's no smurfs left to kick him out of the village - and Gargamel gets to eat and decide he doesn't like the taste of smurfs.

Again, don't like the humor used in this show, even if the sketchs and molding are pretty good.

I wonder who Gargy ate? I mean, yes that not something I like to hear either Sandra. What's funny about killing them off. Dead smurfs are not funny.

I thought it was tasteless myself.

But at least Gargamel got his in the end in one way or another.

I have not heard of robot chicken before Sandra but I will check them out on Youtube.

I think "tasteless" is the right word, but maybe it is also sometimes a little little little bit funny...For example seeing Gargamel being so disappointed.

Sorry I found it a bit funny.... especially Smurfing like a mother smurfer and Grandpa saying he didn't evacuate when the chipmunks went rabid and how that was bad but he sure as hell isn't evacuating for a little rain then gets washed away by a tidal wave

I've seen a different smurf skit on a robot chicken which I really didn't like....but the link Simon posted had me rolling. I thought that one was funny especially the part where Gargamel calls for chinese after tossing all the cooked smurfs

Thanks for posting I thought it was pretty funny and the animation was cool especially Gargamel, loved the end joke too

That's pretty cool animation, although I feel sorry for the Smurfs.

I could see Gargamel really trying to do that though.

Is it just me that remembers wrong, or didn't Gargamel wanted to catch smurfs to make gold, and not to eat them?

Maybe I'm confuses, been years since I last read my comics - and I never saw the cartoons (though I have like almost complete 4 seasons of them).

Robot chicken did a smurf skit based on SE7EN the film... that's quite good as it actually used a lot of the original voice over talent from the cartoon!

It's on youtube. Anyone seen that?
