Did anyone find the jokey and vanity dvd plush in the stores yet?

Not yet around here, Gerda. In fact, I went to 3 Walmarts this weekend and 2 of them had absolutely nothing left and the other only had a few plush. I was quite annoyed!! Target seems to be the only one restocking around here I checked Toys R Us too just to see if they'd have Jokey and Vanity but all they have left are the 50th anniversary and normal smurf. But they had a sweet sweet display up that Dyar asked to have...the stupid manager said "oh we don't give those away, we usually just throw them in the trash"...WHAT would be the difference?? At least I got a photo of it...might have to start looking in TRU's dumpsters now

And Bill....Kaz visited my house Saturday and came running out of my dining room with one of the normal beanies in his mouth. I had one extra so I let him take it home with him...now he won't play with it at all since it's not forbidden...silly dog

Are you guys talking about that big poster they have behind all the
plushes displayed at ToysRUs? Everytime I go to ToysRUs and I see that
poster all I keep saying to myself is "I want that." but never bothered to
ask if they would give it to me.

I haven't been to any of my local TRUs (Stace got me my plushes tax-free) and don't even know what the display or poster looks like. I just heard "display" and knew I'd want it (Displays are one of my favorite smurf items)

What are the new ones made out of..are they PVC? You're right, they may grow on me. I'd like to have a few ...my daughter already wants Smurfette and now I find myself really wanting to get the Papa Smurf one...
I checked Walmart today but no Smurfs...I'm going up to Target tomorrow. Our local Toys R Us has the 50th anniversary with the plush, which I'm planning on getting tomorrow since I'll be out where our shops are...

If I can't find the new ones I may end up ordering them via Target's web sight...

I also love promo posters...I'm going to have to see if there is one and ask the manager if they'll hold onto it for me...

Hi Chris; They are made of a hard plastic not like the soft PVC that the regular smurfs are made of. If you have trouble getting the figures I have an extra set of 6. Or I also have 3 of the Papa with Braniy, Smurfette with Poiet, And Jokey with Grouchy. I have three walmarts only two of them have them. But if you need help I have lots of walmarts in the area and two targets.

I would wait and see if the stores will cary them, at least it will save you on shipping, unless they are willing to send to the store for free and you pick it up there. I know my stores have that as an option

Hi Gerda; I went by my toy r us last night they didn't have the new plush. Plenty of normal smurf and 50th ann. I looked for a poster and didn't see one. Or a display.

Hi Everyone,

I went to another Target this Tuesday, it was quite a ride because it was
not close to my home as the other Target was. Anyway, I went to this new
Target and found the figures I was missing. Now I have doubles of the
Figures and Mushroom Houses. (Yes, I opened my doubles!) This morning
I was working on a webpage to display them but I didn't finish it, maybe
when I get home from work tonight I will. Here's a sneak peek of the

I'm still missing the Vanity Smurf Beanie.
The other one I am missing is the Smurf and his car. I didn't see that one
in either Target stores. I have a Sister who lives in New Jersey. I am
going to see if she would visit Wal-Mart for me and find some Smurfs for
me there and I'm hoping she does.

Oh, I almost forgot...
I got me another Smurf display! Now I have 2 of them. Woo Hooo!

I noticed that the smurf in car is only at Walmart. Not sure if Target will carry that one or not but it's not on their website or the price sticker on the shelves either. Would you like me to pick him and the Vanity beanie up for you if I find them this weekend at my Walmart? Just let me know

But let me get a hold of my Sister and see if she can get them at the
Wal-Mart in New Jersey. Besides she is always coming to New York to
visit on the weekends. I'll give you a heads up if she doesn't succeed.

A Very Quick Update:

I just spoke to my Sister and she'll be visiting me this weekend, so she
is going to go to Wal-Mart tomorrow and see if she can find them for me.
What a great Sister... She said if she doesn't find them in the Wal-Mart
she will be going to, She will drive me to another Wal-Mart when she gets
here on the weekend. Woo hooo!

I got a second set of the little playsets and opened them tonight...they go back inside the packaging very nicely though so after taking photos, I will store them in the packaging to keep them safe.

Hopefully your sister can find them at Walmart, Smurfster Two out of 3 Walmarts we visited didn't have anything on the shelves At least the one closest to me does carry them though

Dyar and I stacked all the smurfs we have bought for ourselves and forum members over the past couple weeks and took a photo. I think I should start selling these out of my dining room (just kidding!! they are ready to be packaged up this weekend!) I will post the photo later...I think it's quite impressive

I am going to get me a second set of the playsets and houses to open up but will probably wait a while before I do as all the Walmarts in Chattanooga carried them and had a lot of them left, so that gives me time The one in Dunlap didn't have any though, but that wasn't a big surprise
