Hi everybody,

a few minutes ago somebody listed a smurf with a small bell.
Here comes the link. What do you think about.

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... :ONA:DE:11

In the discrition the seller says that the smurf was standing over long
years in his desk and that he got it from a SCHLEICH-Employee.
Its not PCV-Material and it should be a testversion.
regards
Ralf

The paint is very shiny, not like normal Schleich paint.

No way to check his story. It can be true, but then again... I don't think a Schleich employee would be allowed to get the model of an unproduced Schleich Smurf at home...
:sheep: Bored of normality, why not go smurf? :sheep:

Hi Ralf, certainly an interesting auction. As Fram says though, very difficult to know whether to believe the story or not. :-?

The seller isn't trying to say this is the real deal so that is one thing, they are very clear to say it is not PVC material. They also have some other very nice items for sale but again that proves nothing. It will certainly be an interesting auction to watch and I have a feeling that the price will probably end up quite high.

Thanks for sharing it.

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

hi!

I think this is one of those auctions that you had mentioned that

feeds on the dream of having a rare smurf.

so no one will really know if its real.. I suppose its worth the gamble

and how much one is willing to gamble or throw money away for their

addictions:) :) and since I am a addict.. I might even bid on it..

I'll let you know. I figured that I've spent much more for a fake Toreador and a fake I Love NY that in comparison this is somewhat of a bargain.

I saw your name on that auction and I was hoping you would win it Jim...at least now you can give us what your thoughts are when it arrives and we can here it from a reliable person. I have won something from this seller too and he seems like a nice enough guy.

I think this looks like a nice smurf to have though Jim...congratulations

Hi Jim, yes I was cheering for you at the end and had everything crossed hoping you would win.

I didn't mention your name as I wasn't sure if you wanted to go public. :)

Great win. :champ:
