Hey guys,
I had a big collection of Smurfs years ago, but they seem to have vanished.
Anyways, I saw the Smurf Adventures on TV the other day and now I am hooked again.
I live in the USA and Smurfs heven't aired here since the 1980s. Its so great!

Any idea where I can start my collection again? Is ebay the only place to buy smurfs?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Ebay is the place for cheap smurfs and you often get some bargains.

If you want mint condition smurfs (but obviously more expensive) then I ship worldwide, see www.kittyscavern.com.

The best guide around is the Der Schlumpf katalog IV, read my review here http://www.kittyscavern.com/derschlumpf_review.htm. Smurf values in the guide are for mint condition smurfs and many would say they are overpriced in this climate. However, with the Smurf Movie maybe just around the corner things could change very quickly!

With ebay be prepared to find bargains, sometimes rubbed smurfs and fakes. It's a good place to start! If you see something you like on ebay then compare the prices in my shop and then you can see if it is a true bargain or if you can pay less for a mint condition smurf.

To start collecting the smurfs again you could try searching in the comic stores. that's what i've done after they have vanished and you could try finding them on fleamarkets.
But the best ofcourse is finding the smurfs you've lost.
