Hello Ron, yes the Toy Islands were a offshoot(they came after) of Galoob Toys. Yes I have the Galoob ones on card, but haven't gotten the page up yet. I will post when I have finished it!

I don't remember it but then the garages we went to were small and local. Sometimes we bought doubles because there weren't any new smurfies there, not that we were complaining!

Very nice card ! Have never ever seen one of these before and certainly were never sold in National garages. Luton address suggests they would have been an early importer as so close to major airport. Whether they ever hit the shops and which shops I don't know

Luton is where I will be staying in the UK in November with my uncle. This carded smurf is very interesting. Maybe they were sold in shops in the UK.. but how do you know what smurfs to choose from to get a free smurf as there is no list.
