This is so funny that everyone is talking about facebook I also just joined last week . Talk about feeling like a loser I have one friend lol . I didnt really post anything on my page yet .I only posted favorit childhood cartoons lol . I have been so busy with work . Its so funny my one freind keeps asking me to post pictures . I am thing god what did I get myself in to .

Hi Margaret; You will make friends as you go. You don't have to contact each and every friend that you put on there. Some you just add just incase you want to contact them. What most people do is just keep everyone updated as to what is going on in your life. Some will make comments to what you put up there and you can make comments to their posts. I pretty much just use it for family and a few friends. And my pic's

I have an account but I am never on it except once in a while on the weekend. For some reason some old friends still found me..and um..I am kinda not mentioning my smurfs..but then..I don't say much on there at all anyway

My mother is totally hooked on Facebook and keeps up with her friends and neighbours on it..people she sees if not daily at least several times a week..but they talk on facebook . She even posted pictures of Germany on there and when I asked her if I could see her pictures, she told me to go on Facebook as they are on there

That's the same mother who told me it's not safe to be a member on a forum when she heard that I had joined a smurf forum

I am 56 and I am on it. My sister is 62 and she is on it. You old friends should also join and if they don't they won't even know you did. By the way if they are your friend they shouldn't care.

my son will send me messages through facebook instead of coming down stairs and telling me. Or he writes them while in school to let me know his plans. My son and his best friend actually went to the library last night sat at two different computers (that where next to each other) and talked on facebook I don't get it
