Nice to see one with the original lantern Margaret..I always thought it was an odd thing for him to be carrying when I saw him in some literature :)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Well the funny thing is I thought the person I brought them from just stuck it in the smurfs hand and was I was going to throw it out
I had taken out of his hand and and put it my garage but then going through the smurfs news letters one night I saw it was the smurfs so I am now really glad I did not throw it out lol . :) :)

They were sitting in a Library for like the last 30 years they sold the to raise money for new books . They look like new so I was really happy and must say they are my favorit smurfs in my collection . They are so big

I relly do you hope you get the papa Gerda .Did the seller come down any on the price yet ? I would think $300. or $400 would be a fair price and he has the original sign witch is hard to come by . I seen a couple sell on ebay for $500 and they were not in the US .

Good luck !!!

@Margaret: those shop displays look to be in 1A condition unlike mine which obviously spent it's life being a shop display :)

It's interesting to see the lantern like that :D

whatever excuse you need works for me. sometimes I buy smurfs just to keep the check book balanced at a low enough number for less confusion. Robert don't buy it that i'm trying to help him out :-? I know I find it easier adding 1+1 than 50 + 50 but that is just me :)
