With all the wonderfull play along smurfs being released this year I was wondering if there is something you guys where secretly hopeing to see released for the smurfs.
for me I would say I'm hopeing to see school supplies, not sure why but smurfy school items like folders and notebooks just look so neat and i know I would be buying up a bunch.

I would like them to make more animals for the smurfs, like the snail.

I know my children would love that.

And also a larger playset for the smurfs. Like the 3 new ones Schleich are releasing september 2009 for the Farmlife, Wildlife and the one for the knights.

I would like to see the rest of the seasons come out on DVD over here, and all of the Smurf books to come over here so that I can read them!

Excellent topic! I'd like to see the Playalong smurfs sold in Australia. Also would like to see more smurf t-shirts from Jay Jays available. A new promo smurf like Maureen mentioned! More smurf dvds, smurf plush....

I agree with Hilary I'd like to see ANYTHING for sale in the UK shops..but I'd also like to see a new playset, but I doubt we will *sigh*

If the play along smurfs sell well in the US, Schleich may jump on the band wagon as well and plan a playset for next year.

Here in the U.S. when ever a kids movie premieres in theaters, they
usually start promoting their toys way in advance or sometimes 6 months
before. It's way to early now to see what else is coming out for the
Smurfs movie and hopefully they will be other stuff. Might be the same
for other countries as well. We can all cross our fingers and just wait to
see what other Smurf goodies will be hitting the stores, as we all can see
already - so far so good.

Someone at the end of 2008 wrote that there would have been a new BASF smurf (or smurfette) at the latest 'plastic' fair. Any news?

I also would like to see new playsets from Schleich, or at least new super-smurfs.
