A while back I talked about an A5 format smurf comic book released by the FAZ (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) of which I bought a copy. It has lots of the stories from the comic albums in it & for €4,90 it was more than worth the money.

Here's a link showing what it looked like:-

Whilst buying music CDs at Zweitausendeins (2001) yesterday I saw that they were selling these books for only €2,50!! So I bought another copy for myself to keep originally sealed.

I just thought I'd point this out in case there are any other members here who are after one, in particular the German members who buy at 2001.

Uhm... I'm learning german, maybe reading smurfs in german would be a nice way to do it faster and less painfull. ;)

Can you pick up a copy for me?

Hi Sandra, great idea, learning and smurfing at the same time. :-D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I have to go into Frankfurt this afternoon after work Sandra so I'll see if I can get one for you. Perhaps I'll buy a couple just in case someone else would like one.

He got me a book and also the latest Schlumpf Mag and guess what this time it took less than a week to get to me...I think the international postal service knew it had to make up for the last few times when the mail from Europe took close to two months to get to me

I've only just seen this, are there any more comics around Tojo? I'd love one of the ones on the left if it's possible? :D
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Hi Steve,

there was only one smurf comic from the FAZ series. I may pick one for you at Zweitausendeins in Düsseldorf in two weeks, if Tojo should fail (which I highly doubt).

I'm not sure when I might get into Frankfurt again but probably not for a couple of weeks. If I'm lucky I may be able to pop into the city next Saturday on my lunch break though. If they still have some then I'll pick up a couple as for €2,50 they're a real bargain :-D I'll bear you in mind Steve.

@Maureen : that was quick this time round. I hope you like them.
