You've started quite a trend Sandra....now everyone wants the possible fakes that you have....I think you should keep your's too to compare to the Germany ones.

I doubt I'll be buying them again, unless there's some blantly obvious diferences.
But I'll make sure to ask for the marking next time I bid on a Hallowen smurf... theen again, I'm only missing one to complete the set... :lol2:

BTW I had no idea this would turn out to be such a huge thread. Just thougt the marking was funny and you guys probably already knew all about it.

I'm for 99% sure they are fake. Sorry guys! But it's made by the same person from HK. He is the maker of all the other fakes we know already!

So if you buy them for real :-?

I don't think anyone knew that the China was spelled wrong at all so you did uncover something with letting us all know :D

I agree, Staci...A great discovery for this crazy world of smurfs collectors!!!!Some of the greatest discoveries of the History have been similar: the scientific was looking for anothere thing and suddenly apperaed something interesting but different than his initial purpose :D :D :D

Hi Sandra, this is why it is always worth mentioning anything that seems strange or interesting. Yes it may have been discussed in the past but there will always be new members to learn from another discussion but in the case like yours now, you have actually made quite a nice little discovery for us all to learn about. I agree with Rach and of course Staci before that......I was not aware of this before you mentioned it Sandra. I should have a fake set being sent to me very soon now....thank you for educating us
