LMAO= Laughing my ass off
ROFLMAO = Rolling on the floor laughing my ass off
LOL = Laughing out loud
LSLISOMS = Laughing so loud I'm spitting on my screen
Those abbrecviations are hard, as they often are not to be found in a dictionary (certainly a slightly older one), and you don't come across them in books or movies or TVseries...

Hi Zaza
Nice to hear from you again.
Don't feel bad about not knowing as I didn't grow up with a computer so I had to ask Stace what they all meant.....even things like:
BTW = by the way
IMHO = in my honest opinion
and then there are these ones:
PO = go away
P.Off = post office
BILLS = no smurfs this week
VD = very disturbing
BOASYD = Bid on another smurf - you're dead
EBAY = Early bidders and yobbos
DYAR = Dashing, young and....rambling
or
DYAR = Dashing, young and....repetative
I hope that's educational
Dyar
PS - Karen has a few colourful new ones as well....I mean abbreviations.....geez you guys.

Welcome giantwoo
It's interesting with this list to see how some languages look very similiar with the name for smurfs whereas others are totally different.

The Finnish word is spelt wrong. It is supposed to be Smurffit with too f:s incase anybody is interested.

I must have compared the two spelling 10 times to figure out what you were talking about then I read further down to see that you had corrected it. I didn't see any diffrence. LOL

to be added:
Romanian: Strumfi plural Strumfii
How I know? Ask Aly, according to her I should speak a lot more Romanian by now, as she speaks Dutch so well..

BTW, it just occured to me... in Danish they were originally called
Snøvserne, before being renamed to Smølferne (Smølf in the singular).
As seen here in this comic:
