Should we put the word for smurf in all the languages here also? I know English and German, but what about French, Spanish, etc??

He SYD don't start with chinese rude words.
most of them arent what you think it is.
cause my mother told me that most chinese people never tell/ learn other people chinese rude words.

I recently saw one of those funny ads on TV. It was about a Japanese couple, and it went along these lines (but much longer and funnier). Japanese man holds up some fish and asks his wife "do you know what we tell Westerners we call these?" "No" "Sushi!" (embarrassed giggle from wife) "Ooh, that's rude!" "And this?" (holds up his glass?) "No?" "Sake!" "Sake? And they believe that? Ahahahahahaha!". And so on. So apparently it aren't only the Chinese who are pulling our nose with rude words

No I had a very good friend that was Chinese when I grew up and he got me to say those words to his Dad.....I think they were pretty offensive because his Dad wanted to cut my balls off with a big machete.

I was wondering, has anyone noticed an improvement in their language skills since chatting so much on here? I know my French has improved since talking to Joss in French quite a few times, and I was wondering if anyone else had noticed a difference? I'm just being nosey so don't mind me, you can ignore me if you like! 
My Australian has improved also!
And I now know how to say toothbrush how the Welsh say it, it's tuthbrush.
Oh yes and I've learnt to woof at dogs, haven't I Pudsley?
I'm still waiting for Richard to say "eh" though

Nono, you're pronouncing it the wrong way, it's not with a long 'ee' sound but with a shorter sound.
