Hi guys,

I only wanted to let you know, that I might not be around here for quite some time. Reason being, that I will be quite busy. First of all, I will be involved in a research project this semester, then I have to plan both my stay abroad and utimately my B.A. examinations and last, but least my B.A. thesis is waiting for me. In case you're interested: My B.A. thesis will focus on medieval Dutch municipal law. :D Additionally,I still have to pass my Dutch UniCert II (B2) or any of its equivalents (NT2 or CnaVT) , which enables me to continue my studies in the Netherlands. :D

Oops, I forgot to mention that I passed the Dutch B1/B2 language course with a 1,3 (A-). :yay: :D (I just got my grade!) :D

Yes, congratulations and bon courage for the next steps.
I remember that I brought the disco couple smurfs with me in Bratislava, during my Erasmus year : that was a part of my world with me, far from home.

Congratulations! :D

Good luck for all your plans, especially for your B.A. thesis! I have handed in mine about two months ago: It's surely a lot of work, but as long as you are interested in your topic and you have an advisor with whom you can discuss difficult aspects it won't be too bad. :D

Thank you guys. :grouphug:

Leaving you for a while, surely doesn't mean that I am going to leave you forever. :D I'll keep you posted. :D

Luckily, my advisor invited me to write my thesis at one of his seminars, after I passed an oral examination with "A" (1,0) one year ago. Coincidentally, he's offering a seminar which is just perfect for me! I may expand my term paper into a proper B.A./M.A. or even a Ph.D. and I learn how to use & present incunables. :D (This research project is just too good to be true. :D ) If you don't know what incunables are, wikipedia should give you a little glimpse of what I am referring to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incunable

Before heading off to UK (and hopefully passing my CPE), I am having an internship at the Montanhistorisches Dokumentationszentrum (that means mining archive in English), one of the most prestigious industrial and economic archives existing in Germany from February to April. :D
