Well, I got my radiation finished today...and got a certificate for it..and got to ring the bell. I am so happy the 28 treatments are over. I'll have chemo for the next two months and then we re-evaluate.

Here am I ringing the bell announcing I survived radiation.

Actually, I am doing much better than anybody would have thought and I can't tell you how thankful I am for that. I have some side -effects that started this past week but that's not bad either. I was told they would start two weeks into radiation but they started five weeks into radiation something I am not complaining about at all

I'm very happy for you that that part of the treatment is over Maureen. Hopefully the chemo won't be too bad & has the desired effect of killing off any remaining cancer cells which might be lurking around somewhere.

I've got everything crossed as always & am looking forward to the day when you get the news that you're all clear :fingers: :fingers:

One step at a time...

Hi Maureen

Great that it was the last one.
I am very happy that you are going the right way now.

To bad the smurf bellringer is so expensive otherwise that would be the perfect gift in this case................ :???:

Thank you

I am feeling pretty good right now but will take a few days off in the next couple of weeks to get rested for the next and hopefully last phase of treatment.

We are even going away for a couple of days..up to Kentucky to a National Park called Land between Lakes :-D

The bellringer would have been nice, TinTin :) :) :)

Well, after 5 months, I will be returning to full-time work tomorrow..not sure if I am happy or sad about it as I have gotten used to sleeping sort of in :) :)

But it's really a good thing as things should get back to normal again and I should soon have money to pay off some smurf bills..and get money for new smurfs again which is always good

I had another Chemo last Thursday from which I am recovering and will have two more in the next six weeks. In around 9 weeks I will have a scan and detailed blood work and we go from there.

All in all, things are looking much better than they did 5 months ago when we got the reports from the surgery and pathology for which I am very grateful :)

I know what you mean about sleeping it in, love it and am not looking forward to return to work either... 5 weeks to enjoy "late sleeping".

Hi Moey,

what a coincidence, I dreamed about you last night. You were jogging and I tried to follow you. You seemed to be happy, healthy and full of energy. :D That must be a good sign. :D
