Hi,

I have just got the Danish kicker smurf DAO10. I was wondering if someone could tell me something about it? Though it is a Danish promo smurf I do not know anything about him and a do not know any smurf collector here in Denmark unfortunately. So, does anyone know when he was made (year) and for what occation or maybe for a certain football Club? Any information would be apreciated.

but the ball should be all white, I think.
WHat means DAO10 for you ? Is it written somewhere on the smurf ?

I have just found it in the gian & Davi Collezioni - The Smurfs Collectors Official Collectors guide on page 392 and the ball is white with black hexagons.

Yes, I have also seen it in the catalogue and the text says "Danish kicker" and the article no. is DAO10. However it would be interesting to know for which occation it was made and which year. I did not know that it excisted before I found him in the catalogue so if anyone knows anything about the smurf please tell me.

It`s the danish kicker, he is also described in Bernd Maiers catalogu

When this smurf was sold for the first time in 1992, the european cup in soccer was played in Sweden. And Denmank became european champions in 1992, so it was probably made because of that.

The numbers used in Gian Davi collectors book for this is just an invented number. He does that on all items he do not know the actual Schleichnumber.
