Regarding the Skier, Lia started a thread about this super 4 years ago and I just love reading old threads and see how small details mentioned then is important to have now. :D I have learned a lot since then and did not notice the differences in the Skies mentioned by Stefan. Now I understand what he means. I will get to that later.

Here is the thread Lia started:

I did not get the first moldvariation of the skies then. A bit hardcore but it is easy to spot when checking cavitynumbers. :D

Regarding the markings and chronology order I thought about this.

Before going on to the Schleich S Marked smurfs I mean. :-? :)

As written before the first smurf with changed style on the peyo-marking was the torchbearer. We have talked about the new Smurfette Schleich made and which was only sold for a short while. It was only marked W Germany and Peyo, just like many other smurfs from this time like chimney sweeper, thinker, sitting etc. I am pretty sure this Smurfette has to have been made in 1977/78. The markings goes well with the other smurfs made about these years. Also other things like the facts that they were sold in UK, Sweden etc around early 1978 supports that.

Another thing that could be interesting is that the records from BP tells that the smurfs were big in Germany, Holland, France and also Spain when National wanted to start the Campaign. That would explain why the CNT Smurfette looks like the Schleich smurfette-mold from 1977 and not the other more common Smurfette. Well actually the CNT Smurfette was a copy of the Eura Spain Smurfette? Correct Lia? :-? :D

This smurf was the first supersmurf getting the new logo, Schleich S. I do not think there are any older markings?

But the yearmarking was added later and the first ones did not have the year 78 on the legs.

My guess is that the first tricycle was the darkred one with darkyellow Wheels.

This supersmurf was almost sold the same time in UK as in Germany. The first ones sold in summer 78 in the UK did not have any mustard dots.

That tricycle is also the one we can see in 1979 on this picture. :D
