There is a new collection out from Italy:

There should be 60 or 70 weekly issues available at newstands with a kids booklet and, most important, plastic figurines!

:-D

Just found out that this series has just been released in Germany under the name "Die Schlümpfe. Die Welt der Berufe" (=The Smurfs. The world of jobs" in English) The first issue costs 2,99 €, with the following numbers priced at 7,50€ each. Since this is way too much for me, I try to order the first issue and get hold of the following numbers at one of the "professional" fleamarkets I know of, so that I might get them here for app. 4€ each. :D

The same collection was tested in France for 5 issues, and almost certainly will be released in its entirety soon; I've heard that the same is for Spain, now also Germany!
In Italy issues are 6.90 each and I have subscribed (with 2 free issues and some presents).

If there is someone that is interested only in the figurines (that are the same... maybe only the markings could be different) and is willing to sell the booklets in German or in Spanish just pm me! :-D

That sounds very, very interesting and I will definitely have a look to see whether the newsagents at the train station in Frankfurt has it in stock

I couldn't find any at the train station so I'll probably have to check out the official website...

I got bad news. The Germany series already ended. :( :( :( Moreover, I was unable to order #1. :( :( :(

Maybe they are running a 4 to 5 issues test in selected cities, as they did in France last month and in Italy last year. Then here the collection was released nationwide some months after the test and now it's in every newstand!
:D

That would explain why I couldn't find anything about them. Even the official website didn't mention the series...

After more than a year, I finally got today the 60th and final issue. Now I have to decide whether to keep them sealed or to display them in some kind of diorama...
Postby Cassiebsg » Thu Jul 24, 2014 9:45 am
Can we get a picture of them? Even if they're sealed. ;)
