In the SCCI letters they tell us about the last smurfs Applause made for 1990.

They call them " The eleven figurines". :D

I managed to find the smurfette with teapot they made then.

So the question is: Were only these eleven smurfs made with this marking?

No yearmarking, only Peyo, Applause TM, China and CE.

All eleven have the same marking.

I don´t have Papa with labglasses and 20402 Schlaffi with this marking.

But I now have 9 of these.

Are these 11 the only ones?

Thanks!!

the reason I ask this is that when I read the SCCI letters I made notes in the DSK. And I have marked that 20192 smurfette with baby also can have this marking. But I think I must have mixed them up?? Maybe took nanny for 20192 smurfette with baby instead of 20408?? :-?

So are these eleven smurfs the only ones possible to find with applause markings?

Thanks Frank,

I don´t think all of them are that rare. Most of them were used in the Irwinwrappings in 1995, 1996. :-?

But I think the teaset-smurfette is harder to find.

And I believe she is only possible to find made in Germany ( with and without CE on arm), made in Hongkong ( with W Berrie) and last one was made in China by Applause as a normal figurine.

Was the tea set smurfette ever sold without the table? I have two of them, one by Applause and one by Wallace Berrie but I don't have the table like #40245 in the dsk catalog.

Only the Applause one was sold like a normal without table. This one was never sold with table according to the SCCI letters and probibility?

The W Berrie super was the first one made for the Applause box sold 1984. So sold for 2-3 years in this box.

In Germany sold between 86 and 93.

It was also sold by Mafi in France 1985 and they many times sold HK-made smurfs around these years so my guess is that you could find many HK smurfettes in Europe also then. But always as supers. :D
