A big thankyou to Alan and Michelle (HandyHarmony) who sent me copies of the last four SCCI letters I still needed for the full collection
It was a bit of a pain to upload the letters (but I learned to have patience :) ) because it took a long time to upload each letter due to their sizes, but they are all on my website now...You need Adobe Acrobat to view the letters, but I put a link to download it for free on the intro page(thanks for that Stace  ) It will take quite some time to download each letter, so if you are interested in having them as a reference I would actually suggest that you save them to your computer once you have downloaded them. Or if you are interested, I can put them on a DVD for anybody who is interested and send them to you...All I need is a pm :D

Here are the links to all the letters

Thank you so much for uploading the letters! I have saved a few on my computer...
It is so interesting to see how the smurf collecting worked and how they changed information when there was no world wide web! :D
And there are many information that were new for me! :D
For example I never have seen the IBM-promo smurfs from letter 56 and it’s nice to see some information about the spanish sign bearers or how the fake smurfs were found...At first they didn't want to mention them because of their quality, then they have metioned some CNTs ("pirated/ conterfeit" smurfs #45) and at last it says "we all enjoy hearing about them and seeing them".
And so, the fake collecting began... :)

Unfortunately I don't have much patience in other areas :???:

As far as I know, letter 56 was the last one. From what I have heard Suzanne was already very sick at that time and died soon after that :rose:

Simon...your post made me laugh....I have to admit, I had the same thoughts :D

I am glad you are all enjoying them

Maureen asked me to put a link to Dyar's SCCI page just to keep info together HERE

I found a lot of useful info in the newsletters about the SCCI this week as well :thumbsmurf:

I think we should sticky this info so it's easy to find. What do you think? :-?

Hey
Almost one year after from last message in this thread.... many thanks for these old letters! :-D
It seems there are six numbers missing.... I mean there are no links for the numbers 16, 18, 23, 25, 26 and 31.
I've found the links for anyone still interested, so now we have all 56 numbers !:

Maybe I'm not looking at the right place to find the Newsletters... but there was a total of 60 newsletters issued by the Club.

I have them, if you need number 57 to 60.

Hi Helene,
if you could e-mail me close up pictures of each page of the missing letters that would be great so I can add them to the website.
