I've been to the Free Record Shop over in Breda where the Smurfs were instore for a signing /picture sessions.
They had 3 diffren't versions instore of the DVD :

1) DVD
2) Blue Ray
3) 3D Blue Ray

On none of them was the Christmas Carol movie. Does anyone know if this movie will be availible overhere in the Netherlands/Belgium (so incl the Christmas movie)?
Also next to the Free Record Shop is a Intertoys shop. They had the same 3 versions of the movie. So it looks like we won't have the Christmas movie availible.

IF i'm wrong: let me know where I can find this special edition

I was also under the impression it was already out, but the Smurf Christmas Carol will be part of a special 3-disks set that will be released on Dec. 2nd.

In The Netherlands we have another Saint besides Sante Claus. His name is Sinterklaas and this day is celebrated on dec.5. So that's why the DVD is released today overhere instead of dec. 2.

So i hope you are right with the release on dec. 2 also overhere for the 3disc edition but I'm afraid that won't be the case. Or am i wrong? I HOPE SO!!!

That's funny, it's celebrated on 6th December here in Germany.

The movie is released here on the 8th though. That's something to put on my xmas wish list :) :)

Surely you will get the Christmas movie as well...I think it's being released on it's own DVD in England, so maybe the same is true for you :-?

If anybody is interested in the American release, just let me know...it's released Dec 2nd, and should be available everywhere over here (at least you see it's being advertised like crazy) :D
