I am curious how did you hear about this? I saw something on Andre's website the other day but can't find it anymore.

Hi Andre

So in the catalogue are the pictures of the new smurf shown or are they blurred out? So far I have not seen any pictures online.

I also saw on eBay someone selling the catalogue but the postage to Australia was rather expensive.

They are not blurred out in the catalogue. I made that in Photoshop since Arne at imps/puppy told me it is not ok to show them yet on social media. :)

Here are all the smurfs pictures in the catalogue. But the new ones blurred.

I guess I will just need to wait. At least we have some hand drawn pictures which is better than nothing.

It was also interesting to see that the Occasion themed smurfs and Lost Village ones are returning for another year but no Jungle themed ones.

We've had football smurfs before so it'll be interesting to see how these differ.

Was thinking the same... football again? :-?

I feel I'm parting from collecting smurfs... I refuse to get those stupid movie sets! :banghead:

PS - Is that a retailer catalog?

Looks like the 2018 smurf won’t be available until March. Just saw a YouTube clip posted by Blue Dwarfs with a picture of them and they look adorable.

So what are your thoughts of the 2018 Smurfs?

I received the 2018 smurfs today... well...
:banghead: It seems that Schleich does not know anymore to what a smurf looks like.
Their head is now so large that compared to the old smurfs, they look ridiculous to me ; especially because of the small hands and feet. Even the PVC is strange, a kind of Kinder eggs plastic.
New designers would be welcome I think.
But maybe some of you like them this way ?

It is interesting to hear your thoughts on them, as of yet I have not purchased them. Were they made in China or somewhere else?

Out of curiosity have you measured the size of their heads and compared to smurfs that were released ten years ago. Just curious, as in the pictures I have seen so far the heads do not appear to be any larger than past years
